The River Store has been serving paddlers in the Lotus, CA area for over 25 years. We are owned and staffed by paddlers, and we’re here to make every trip to the river the best it could be. From the best boats to the best clothing, we stock gear we’d be stoked to use ourselves, and we do! Stop by, shop, visit, or just hang out on our big front porch and meet friends, old and new.

All our staff are avid outdoors people, who are all knowledgeable about the sport and the gear & classes that we offer.
Josh has been a whitewater kayaker since 2005 & snowboards in the off season.
Dylan has been paddling a hard shell kayak since 2008 and often gets away to backpack in the California sierras through out the summer.
Lisa started paddling a hard shell kayak in 2008 and in the off season is out at Santa Cruz testing her boat in the surf.
